Pastor Kyo Cummings Biography


Elder Kyo Cummings was born in Columbus, Ohio, July 12, 1972 to  Evangelist Janet Cummings  and Suffragan Bishop Claude W. Cummings. Elder Cummings received his spiritual foundation through the teachings of his parents and was spiritually born on August 14, 1983.

Elder Cummings holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace College in Mass Media Communications and currently works for Fox 8 News in Cleveland, Ohio.  He is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana and a member of the Ohio District Council of Pentecostal Churches.


Elder Cummings married the love of his life, Lady Lisa Cummings in August 1999.  Together, they have two sons, Chandler Elijah and Blake Isaiah.  Currently, they reside in Solon, Ohio.


Believing 2 Timothy 2:15, which reads, “study to show thyself approved unto God…,” Elder Cummings completed his ministerial courses at Aenon Bible College and is currently taking numerous courses with Moody Bible Institute.

Elder Cummings serves as Pastor of Ebenezer Assembly of Christ, in Ohio.  He further serves as President of the Northern Ohio District Brotherhood Auxiliary and the Ohio District Council Youth Camp Pastor.  He is an active member of the Ohio District Council’s Credentials & Resolutions Committees.  Beyond his church ministry involvements, he has given his time to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Youth Empowerment Program, Ohio Reads, and various other programs designed to help and aid others.
